The
Feed Families at Thanksgiving Project
Reggie and Yvette started this as their own personal way of giving back to those less fortunate. Through MTN they now provide over 800 families a year with all the essentials needed to make a proper Thanksgiving Dinner including a turkey. As the need grew larger than what they could provide on their own, it was a simple Facebook post that sparked this mission. This project started the foundation of MTN Organization, Inc.
It is because of Richard and Nola Pearson, who always instilled love, compassion, respect and helping anyone you can regardless of how much you, yourself have, provided Yvette and Reggie the motivation to do what they do. What her grandparents taught her has never left her. Yvette says "This project is a constant reminder of how fortunate a kid she was to have such amazing role models". Things her grandparents said like "A tight fist, can never receive" and "always help anyone you can because you never know when you may need help" are words etched in her heart and are the driving force behind MTN Organization, Inc. MTN is so very proud to honor the memory of Richard and Nola Pearson in such a special way. Founder Yvette Anderson believes they are smiling from heaven to see all that they instilled in her still hard at work providing for so many.
Many ask who are Richard and Nola? Founder Yvette Anderson is always honored to say this project is named in memory of her grandparents Richard and Nola Pearson who raised her and taught her the importance of helping anyone she could. Yvette is never embarrassed or ashamed to say she grew up a child in need. Her family was very poor and often received assistance. The Thanksgiving Baskets are near and dear to her because as child her grandfather had her volunteer at a local church assembling Thanksgiving Baskets for families in need and later that evening, her family would receive a basket. Yvette feels blessed to have God now use her to give struggling families the same basket she once assembled and received as a child.

for $50 dollars
Adopting a family allows you to donate a monetary value of $50 towards MTN creating your adopted family a basket consisting of all the essential items needed to make a proper Thanksgiving dinner including the turkey. You are more than welcome to adopt more than one family.

Each basket is packaged in a clear plastic container tote with a lid. Inside this basic mashed potatoes, stuffing, macoroni and cheese, a gift card valued at 15$ towards a purchase of a turkey. Two boxes of stuffing, a large box of mashed potatoes, 4 boxes of macoroni and cheese, four cans of green beans, four cans of corn, two boxes of cornbread, two large cans of yams, mini marshmallows, cake mix, frosting, turkey gravy cranberry sauce, cream of mushroom soup, Frenchy's fried onions, aluminum turkey pan, 10 short bread cookies, and juice and a Thanksgiving Card.

REGISTRATION
Register to see if you qualify for a Richard and Nola Feed Families at Thanksgiving basket. You must include your name, contact information, and your family size/ income. A Valid form of ID is required to pick up a basket. PLEASE NOTE: 1 Basket will be permitted per family. One Registration needed per family at a time.
